Higher core CPUs help with multi-tasking and video editing related work. Plenty of modern games also take advantage of multiple cores of a CPU; 4 to 6 cores are usually enough for current generation of games
Higher CPU clock speed means snappier experience as the tasks could be completed in a shorter time
The growing trend of developers optimising games for higher cores means that it will be a good idea to upgrade to a more powerful CPU. It will help future proof your investment too
Desktop and CPU Cooling
CPU Cooling
Some of the CPUs with "No Cooler" in the option description don't come with the vendor supplied cooler so an Air or Liquid CPU Cooler from the drop-down list must be selected
If it doesn't say "No Cooler" in the option description then it means the CPU comes with Intel or AMD supplied stock cooler however you can still optionally have a more powerful and higher performing cooling system installed from the available list of advanced air and liquid CPU coolers
Below are some of the advantages of upgrading the stock CPU coolers:
Better cooling system keeps the CPU temperatures down that allows the processor to hit higher frequencies more often and for longer which, in short, means better performance
Silent operation than stock coolers
Gives a nice visual look to PC builds with window cases
PC Case Cooling
Different PC cases come pre-installed with various number of fans or none at all. We have mentioned the number of pre-installed fans in the drop-down selection list of available cases. You can optionally add one or two extra fans to the case. In total we recommend to have 2 to 4 fans to keep heat management and overall PC noise levels balanced. While figuring out the total number of fans in the desktop, please keep in mind that CPU liquid coolers (if selected) also come with one, two or three fans installed to cool the radiator. The technicians while building the PC will determine the best installation configuration of fans for optimal intake and exhaust of air. Entry-level CPU liquid cooler comes with 1x radiator fan while the rest of higher-end ones come equipped with 2x or 3x fans

Higher-end Gaming edition boards generally offer better audio quality, nicer looks, faster USB interfaces, higher NVMe SSD speeds and specialised functionalities like overclocking and higher RAM frequencies support
They also offer higher number of interfaces like RAM slots, USB ports and PCI slots etc. that can come in handy in case upgrades are required in the future
GRAPHICS CARD (GPU)
It's the most important component in a Gaming PC!
Most of the budget should be allocated to this single component for top graphics performance in PC games
Upgrading to a higher-end GPU should be the foremost priority before any other component while configuring this PC
RAM
Default is Gaming edition 8GB DDR4 memory that can be upgraded to 16GB or 32GB from the drop-down custom options. It features heat-spreader for quicker heat dissipation, nicer looks, protection from overheating and reduced operating temperature that increases overall reliability and longevity. DDR4 memories offer higher frequencies, greater bandwidth and lower power consumption than DDR3 modules
If you tend to open multiple applications and web pages at the same time, higher capacity RAM will help!
Optionally higher speed >2666MHz DDR4 memories are also available (requires Gaming grade motherboard)

STORAGE
PRIMARY STORAGE: High-speed M.2 SSD installed as primary storage starting from 240GB capacity and optionally going up to 4TB. Default is 240GB selected for this PC (If the budget allows, we recommend selecting M.2 NVMe Solid State Drive as they perform much faster than standard SATA SSDs and allow incredibly fast Windows OS boot up and applications loading)

How much storage do I need: Operating system is installed on the primary SSD which takes up between 40GB and 50GB of space. An upward trend in size of applications and games means the available storage could run out quickly over time so it'll be good to upgrade to a higher capacity primary storage now if the budget allows. It might be a good idea to check the required space needed by games/apps you intend to install. Also, bear in mind that many games/apps require some free storage space on the primary drive to run properly. Optional Secondary and Tertiary storage drives are usually used to dump multimedia files like music, movies, photos and videos that take up a lot of space

POWER SUPPLY

Optionally, 'Wi-Fi' or 'Wi-Fi + Bluetooth' could be added for wireless connectivity via external USB dongle or internal motherboard based options
If you opt to go with internal option, please select a Gaming grade motherboard instead of a Standard one
When internal WiFi/BT option is added, we install a motherboard that comes integrated with WiFi/BT whenever possible however for any technical or stock issues, if the integrated WiFi/BT is not possible then a PCIe card based solution is provided

OPERATING SYSTEM
All of our computers come pre-installed with Home or Pro versions of Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 operating system (OS) as selected from the drop-down menu. We install drivers, do necessary OS upgrades, test PCs for stability/performance with state of the art tools and put them in 'ready to go state' before dispatch for a hassle free experience for our customers. Upon arrival, all that's needed from the customer is hooking up monitor, keyboard and mouse and it'll be all good to go
In the OS selection from the drop-down menu, if it says 'License NOT Included', it means we'll still do all of the above but not include the Windows license key with the system for activation. So it will essentially be a trial version of the operating system. Currently, the Microsoft Windows trial version offers almost all the features except some aesthetic ones (e.g., limited background customisation and some persistent watermark on the desktop). Other than that, the OS allows almost all the basic and advanced functionalities like gaming, browsing etc.
If 'Genuine License Included' is selected with the operating system from the drop-down menu, we will (as the option name implies) add 100% Genuine Microsoft Windows license key with the system (Australian stock) for activation
